At 17 inches long, it’s the smallest in-place soil pipe cutter available and is ideally suited for overhead and against-the-wall applications. Constructed for safe and easy use, the chain pipe cutter features a unique hooking mechanism with rotating hooks that allow for fast, safe and easy latching.
Perfect for cutting cast iron, cement and clay pipe where space is limited. Offering versatility, this soil pipe cutter has a multiple action feedscrew equipped with a hand knob for fast adjustment. A 15-inch long 1/2-inch drive ratchet is supplied for operations. If needed, it can also be operated with any 1/2-inch drive ratchet or 15/16-inch wrench. With its simple yet sturdy design, this tool delivers maximum life with minimal maintenance.
This pipe cutting tool has a 1-1/2-inch to 6-inch pipe capacity. With the addition of one chain extension assembly (sold separately), it can cut pipe up to 8-inch nominal diameter, and if cutting clay pipe ONLY, you can extend the chain to allow cutting of up to 15-inch clay pipe.
